Kaviraj Dr. S.K. Maheshwari is a renowned name in the field of Ayurvedic Treatment and manufacturing. He is the founder of Jamna Pharmaceuticals. His father Late Vaidyaraj Shri Dhanraj Ji Dangra was a citizen of Khujner Tehsil of Narsinghgarh Riyasat. He was very experienced and expert Vaidya. Ayurvedic medicines prepared by him were very popular at that time.
Being impelled by individual interest of grandfather Shri Danraj Ji Dangra in manufacturing of Ayurvedic medicines, father of Lt. Dr. S.K. Maheshwari established. Maheshwari Rasayanshala at Khujner in 1947. Inspired by appreciation, zeal and dedication of ancestors towards Ayurveda for three generations, Lt. Kaviraj S.K. Maheshwari established which Jamna Pharmaceuticals at Bhopal on 05 th May 1982, later shifted to 48 B, Sector "C", Mandideep. Distt. Raisen (M.P.)
Marching forward with time the GMP certified company has latest machines and fully equipped quality control laboratory. In this plant 68 patent and more than 217 shastrokt ayurvedic medicines are being manufactured. Specialist and qualified technical expert of Ayurved keep an eye on entire manufacturing process. On 11 th August 1997, Jamna Herbal Research Limited, a sister concern of Jamna Pharmaceuticals had been established. Its manufacturing plant is situated at E-5,New Industrial Area,Mandideep, Distt.
